Henderson began the 2025 season in the Bird Dawgs bullpen before transitioning into the starting rotation in mid-June. He made 25 appearances, including 12 starts, and posted a 5.13 ERA over 79 innings pitched while recording 66 strikeouts and 38 walks.

Prior to joining Down East, Henderson played the 2024 season with the Garden City Wind of the Pecos League, where he went 7-2 with a 3.28 ERA and 68 strikeouts across 60.1 innings pitched. During his collegiate career, Henderson spent five seasons at Cameron University, compiling a 13-13 record with a 5.68 ERA over 48 appearances while striking out 136 batters in 171 innings pitched.
