Kaminer logged 79 innings over 23 appearances, including 11 starts, for the Bird Dawgs during the 2025 season. The left-hander opened the year in a relief role before transitioning into the starting rotation in mid-June, finishing with a 3-4 record, a 2.51 ERA, and 72 strikeouts. At the Frontier League All-Star break, he owned a 1.28 ERA across 42 innings pitched with a 0.88 WHIP. He earned the win in the All-Star Game and went on to become a key piece of the Bird Dawgs rotation down the stretch.
Kaminer began his professional career with the Northern Colorado Owlz of the Pioneer League, where he spent the 2023 and 2024 seasons. In 2023, he primarily worked as a starter, making 15 appearances with nine starts. He returned to Northern Colorado in 2024 in a bullpen role, appearing in 23 games with one start.
Out of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, Kaminer earned Louisville Slugger All-American honors after posting a 1.16 career ERA with 190 strikeouts, which led to his commitment to the University of Miami. He later transferred to Florida Southwestern State, where he made eight appearances, before continuing to Wallace Community College-Dothan. There, he threw 65 innings with 68 strikeouts and just nine walks, showcasing strong command.
Kaminer’s performance earned him a move to LSU, where he pitched during the 2020 and 2021 seasons. In 2020, he appeared in seven games, posting a 2.84 ERA over 12.2 innings with 12 strikeouts. He returned in 2021 as a reliever, making seven appearances. Kaminer concluded his collegiate career at Georgia State in 2022, where he served as a weekend starter and went 1-1 with a 3.74 ERA across 12 appearances, striking out 42 batters in 43.1 innings.
